Meet The Team
Anastasiia
My name is Anastasiia, and I'm an editor-in-chief and a founder of Juvenile Archive journal. I'm 18 years old, and I come from Russia. Currently, I'm studying IB in Germany. In the past, I have been living and studying in Finland and Switzerland. I am passionate about spreading ideas, and this is why I became a TEDx speaker and organizer. I enjoy reading, writing, filmmaking and hiking. I care for getting youth involved in politics, science and arts, and this is why I'm also a writer for Balance the Ballot. In the future, I would love to pursue a career in journalism or/and filmmaking. Fun fact: I want to travel with musicians on tours and create documentaries about them.
Natalie
My name is Natalie and I'm a writer and media manager for Juvenile Archive. I’m a 19-year-old from Poland. I used to study IB in Switzerland, but returned to my home country to continue my studies. Next year, I will probably start studying economics at the university in the Netherlands but for now, I’m occupied with making YouTube videos, reading Twilight for the 5th time and cooking plant-based food. I enjoy doing sports, especially gymanstics.
Maja
My name is Maria but friends call me Maja. I'm a writer for Juvenile Archive. I’m an IB student from Poland and I’ll be 18 in less than a month (high-key scared of that). I love reading, writing, and learning languages. I also engage in some projects like Open Coffee High School Edition as I would like to have a positive impact on other people. My future is still a mystery but recently I have been thinking about journalism which would enable me to spread awareness about some major issues. Fun fact: watching Miraculous “to learn French” is my guilty pleasure.

Julia
My name is Julia, but my friends call me Jules. I'm a writer and illustrator for Juvenile Archive. I'm an 18-year-old student from Germany with a passion for classic literature, the colour green and memes about philosophy and science. I have been drawing since the first day I could hold a pen, illustrating the stories in my head, which I then later wrote down, too. I'm also a singer-songwriter, and from time to time was (and sometimes still are) tempted to turn this hobby into a profession. But ultimately, I will stick to my plan of studying law, as I want to turn the world in a little bit fairer or more just one.
Marseille
My name is Marseille. I'm a website designer for Juvenile Archive. I am 17 years old, and I come from South Africa. Currently, I'm studying IB in Germany. I can speak three languages: Afrikaans, English and German. I am a competitive swimmer, MMA fighter and boxer. I have a passion for art, drawing and programming. In the future, I want to become a psychiatrist. In South Africa I used to work in construction and at my uncles psychiatric facility. I love studying human behavior and processes in human's brain. Fun fact: I love peaches - without peaches the life is grey.
Nour
My name is Nour, and I'm a writer for Juvenile Archive. I'm a 17 year old Egyptian Canadian whose family is always on the move. I'm about to graduate the IB in Kuwait with a mysterious future ahead of me major wise. I'm a history junkie as well as a language lover; in total, I can speak English, Arabic, and Turkish and am learning some Persian on the side. I am passionate about politics, religion, and math and hope to do something in the future where I can integrate all of these interests. Previously, I participated in MUN, which deepened my love for debate, and now I'm a writer for my school's digital newspaper, 'ACA Today'. Fun fact: I love dealing with children even though I'm an only child.
Sayantani
My name is Sayantani Bhowal and I'm a writer for Juvenile Archive. I am a 17-year-old high school senior from India. I am very passionate about earth science, and I love playing badminton, writing and music. I advocate for better menstrual health in my region, which is why I founded an NGO chapter called The Period Society Jalpaiguri. I love golden retrievers and have always wanted to own a pet, but I am not allowed to yet (although I'm hoping that day isn't far). Fun fact: I like to binge-watch The Vampire Diaries even if it's for the billionth time.

Ikjot
My name is Ikjot! I’m 16 years old and from the USA. I am a writer and media manager for Juvenile Archive. I enjoy all things creative: writing, drawing, photography, and making videos. At school, I run on the track team and participate in a mock trial. Some of my other hobbies include cooking, reading, and observing nature. In the future, I would love to attend college in New York City and study either sports medicine or journalism. I love volunteering at my local hospital, participating in sports, and learning about current events, which is why I am interested in these careers. In the future, I am also looking forward to travelling the world and learning about different cultures. Fun fact: I love watching Indian movies with my family.

Tia
My name is Tia! and I am a writer for Juvenile Archive. I’m a 14-year-old high school student from Jamaica. I enjoy reading, singing, finding a new series or movie to occupy my free time, and taking really long naps. Recently, I’ve begun exploring music production, so that’s something else to add to the list. In the future, I’d like to study and hopefully pursue a career in family law, social work, or psychology (or all three if possible). Fun fact (I think): A lot of people re-watch their favourite shows and movies or re-read their favourite books; this is one of the most difficult tasks for me, and each attempt I’ve made proved to be futile.
